What is your returns policy?

We want you to love what you buy. If you're not completely satisfied, we accept returns within 90 days of receipt, provided items are unworn and in their original condition with tags attached. Please contact us to arrange a return.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 working days. Standard UK delivery is free and typically takes 2–3 working days. We offer Express delivery if you would like to receive your item the next day. For international orders, delivery times vary by destination — you'll receive a tracking notification once your order has been dispatched.

Do you ship internationally?

For most brands in our store, we ship worldwide. However, please note that Barbour products can only be shipped within the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA) — this includes all EU countries plus Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man.

Customers outside the UK may be subject to local import duties and taxes upon delivery. If you're unsure whether we can ship a specific product to your country, please contact us before ordering.

Do your prices include VAT?

Please check your order summary at checkout for the price and any taxes collected on your order. For deliveries outside the UK, local import duties and taxes may also be payable upon delivery. These are separate from any taxes collected at checkout unless expressly stated as included.

Standard UK delivery is free. For international orders or express delivery, a delivery charge will be added at checkout. We will always endeavour to find you the most cost-effective delivery option.

Are your Barbour products authentic?

Absolutely. All Barbour products sold at Red Rae are 100% authentic. Barbour is extremely selective about who they appoint as authorised retailers, and they monitor their accounts closely. They do not permit their products to be sold from market stalls or non-established retailers.

If you have any doubts about a retailer, you can call Barbour directly on 0191 455 4444 and they will confirm whether that retailer is an authorised Barbour stockist.

Is Red Rae an authorised Barbour retailer?

Yes — we have been an authorised Barbour retailer since 1975, sourcing all of our Barbour products directly from their factory in South Shields. How do I spot a fake Barbour website?

Barbour does not permit any retailer to use the word "Barbour" in their domain name — only www.barbour.com and www.barbour.co.uk are authorised to do so. If you encounter a website with "Barbour" in the web address (other than those two), they are in breach of Barbour's trading rules.
